My tip: You can now visit places that lie outside your city. For the usual monthly ticket for a limited zone you would have had to pay. This is no longer necessary.
You can practically search any place in Germany from your place of residence, but you have to bring a lot of time and patience. Hamburg – Munich ca. 13h North South or Aachen – Frankfurt/Oder ca. 12h West East
