Where should I put the server because of the LAN connection?

I live in a house with my parents and my sister. I'm always doing all the networking anyway. I have two LAN connections for myself in my room. My TV and PC are connected to them. Otherwise it's difficult; unfortunately I can't install new LAN sockets. My knowledge ends when it comes to electronics. I have a couple of pictures of my TV connected to the second socket, but only one port is connected. I also have a network switch; does anyone have any recommendations on how I should do it? The PC at the very bottom will be the server, but most of the parts are going out because it's junk.

The Fritzbox is an old 4020bx. The Starlink router is still up in the roof, but it's not working. I have Starlink internet.

I’ve got some pictures on the two plugs hanging my TV. There’s only one port connected. I also have a network switchb who recommends how to do it

A server will not irritate 24/7 your Gigabit connection. Only if data is written on this or must be retrieved.

This can be the case with a back-up or reading out larger files of a network share.

Even a media stream will not irritate the Gigabit connection.

You already have a mini switch in your hand. Why don’t you just connect it to a network can and use it as an uplink port?

Most TVs support only 100 Mbit/s via Ethernet. So your solo connection from the network box to the TV isn’t getting out. The server would be perfect.

Insert a 5-port switch and then all depends on it (PC, printer and NAS server plate)

I’ve been running like this for six years and I’m happy.
