Where is the best place to learn to swim?

I'm already an adult and I want to learn to swim. I can do it a little bit, but it still looks very embarrassing.

Do I just go to an indoor pool, to a lane, and try to improve? I don't want to get in anyone's way.

Go to an indoor swimming pool and book a swimming course for adults. Because you're not the only one who can't swim well enough.

And on the spot they have swimming noodles and swimming-breathers that are used as aids.
