Where do you throw away small electrical appliances?

I have a large amount of bulky waste that needs to be disposed of. I've ordered bulky waste disposal from my city and found out that they don't accept small electronics, such as coffee machines, speakers, keyboards, etc.
And no construction waste, such as window frames, wooden doors, etc.

How else can you dispose of such things?

And what about large plastic items that also need to be disposed of? Do they belong in the yellow bin?

I look forward to helpful answers!

What is considered bulky waste is usually adequately described on the website of the local waste disposal company.

If you register bulky waste, only bulky waste will be collected and not electrical items.
If you want to have electrical appliances picked up, you must register them.

Window frames are not bulky waste, but exterior wood (for which a fee is charged)
Wooden doors are also (depending on where they were hung) interior or exterior wood.

I don't know if there are different regulations in German cities. In my city, in some places, there's also a container for old electronics next to the glass containers. Other options for getting rid of waste are recycling centers and mobile hazardous waste collection. And I think electronics stores are also required to take back old devices.
In my city, all items that are at least 50% plastic or metal can go in the yellow bin, including tools like hammers, pliers, empty ballpoint pens, etc. It's best to ask your local sanitation department for more information; they probably have a website.

We have a recycling center where you can bring your (pre-sorted) recycling waste there free of charge and dispose of it in the appropriate containers.

I collect everything that can't be disposed of with general waste or recycling (yellow bag) in folding boxes in the garage. Whenever I have enough for a trunk full, I take a trip to the recycling center.

A dealer or recycling center. It's not bulky waste, but I think there are cities that pick it up.
