Where do/how do you obtain the raw materials nitrogen and hydrogen?

If you mean the elements: Nitrogen is almost free in the air, and the water is heavily absorbed in petrochemicals — but you can also obtain it electrolytically from water, which costs a lot of energy.

Our air consists of over 70% nitrogen when you cool it strong enough, this becomes liquid. O2 becomes liquid at a different T than N2, so you can win N2.

Natural gas and oil are good sources of hydrogen. In steam reforming, methane, for example, is reacted with water to form carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
