Where can I get new papers for my moped?

Hello, I bought a 50cc scooter and need new papers because the previous owner lost them. Where can I apply for new ones? He said they're just the papers. I don't know exactly what he means by "papers," but I think they're the operating license and such. Where can I apply for new ones?

is the type of permit and this is referred to as a second letter from the Federal Agency for Motor Vehicles (KBA). The application is made against the submission of identity card and chassis number, ideally with your local car registration office, alternatively also with any court or notary, the fees are the same, but the registration office knows the transactions from the daily business, as it goes the fastest. You must insure against oaths that you are the rightful owner and do not have rights of third parties to the vehicle (respect, this is an oath that is sworn. Perjury, a false oath, isn't punished with prison under a year, so just think about what you sign. If the vehicle is not stolen or otherwise on a flag list, you will receive a second letter within a few days.

Ask the manufacturer

Nowhere because you bought the Mofa from anyone who stole it and therefore didn't have any papers.
