Where can I get information about travel and tickets from ÖBB?
A good friend wants to visit me, but he doesn't have a car. He lives in Upper Austria, and I live in the Rosenheim district. Be careful, nasty trap at oebb.at! At Bahn.de you can print the ticket without any problems and still cancel if you have a flexible ticket. Not at oebb.at!

No, it's not at the ticket selection where you can choose between savings prices or flex. You can choose the more expensive ticket, if necessary, better cancellation option, and this then goes unexpectedly "broken". As I said, we are here in D a lot of nonsense or rearability of the train used, but not so, at least that works very well.

You can do everything online https://www.oebb.at/ do. Pick up a connection, choose a senior discount when buying a ticket, pay with credit card, Paypal, online transfer.
You can get the ticket yourself as a PDF (and then send it) or alternatively print the next station with a pick-up code.
Or even easier: Per app. For example, it can also buy a ticket directly at the station (if this is large enough) at the switch if it is too complicated online.
