Where and which SSD should I upgrade my PC?

Hello!
I'm having problems with the storage space on my PC and would like to upgrade. I currently only have a 1 terabyte SSD installed, but I need more. At least 2 terabytes more would be ideal for my needs.

The problem is that I don't really know much about it and don't know where I have free SSD slots on the motherboard and which ones fit into them.

I have a Gigabyte B760 Gaming x DDR4 motherboard.

Can anyone who knows about this tell me where there are free SSD slots on the motherboard that I can upgrade to, and which SSDs fit in them, and if so, recommend which ones?

I am grateful for any help!

Best regards.

total. you have 3 M.2 slots. (see manual)

If you only need to store, I would suggest the “normal” SSDs or even HDDs with sata (4x available). the latter are most favorable per TB. but also the slowest. but recommended as a pure storage extension.

You get a maximum of only 2 TB on a SSD. If you want to take larger hard drives, you need to put on HDDs. Once under the graphics card under the cooler would be a slot and twice between the PCIe slots.

As a SSD, I would SN 770 recommended by WD Black as I have it myself.

That’s complete bullshit

No, it’s not, but if he wants to work with M.2, that’s the way. In SATA, however, it is a maximum of 4 TB.

And as I read it out, it’s M.2 that he wants to get.
