When would smoking at the pump lead to an explosion, and when not?
Thanks

Hello everyone, I've had my vape for a week now and have already taken 3400+ puffs. That's about 500 puffs a day. Is that too much? I think you'll vape more at first, and the puffs will slow down a bit. I think my average will be between 300-400 puffs per day. How many trains…
I just went to a shisha bar for the first time and it was so chill.
Hello! I'm currently studying for a test and came across this line, and somehow it doesn't quite make sense to me. I always thought that every nerve cell either has one axon or none, like an amacrine cell, for example. However, here it says that nerve cells have many or only one axon, and the…
I'm currently working on a problem where I have to derive the pH, pOH, and OH concentration using c(H3O+) = 4.3•10^-4. Can someone explain to me how to do this? Thank you👍🏻
It depends on the temperature. For each fuel there is a flash point (e.g. gasoline approx. −25 °C, diesel approx. +55 °C), and a cigarette or a spark can only lead to ignition if the liquid has at least this temperature.
Hey,
When you get too close to the pumping column or throw your tip into a petrol cap next to the column, the probability is naturally higher.

The one pump column explodes today is extremely unlikely
Nevertheless, it is forbidden to smoke there for safety reasons
I don’t want to be smoking. I just felt triggered by a joke.
Try it best not from 😉
a) Non-smoking
b) Cerebral paretician, without driving licence
c) if I wanted to go, not under such an agony.
Chill, was a joke
Okay, sorry.
I’m just telling you, I’m very serious about this.
I don’t think… at work, someone threw a burning cigarette into the truck tank… and even there was nothing happening!
Oh, I hope not in suicidal intent. That nothing happened.
It’s too little oxygen in the tank itself to drive the whole thing to the explosion.
Besides, just because something 1x doesn’t happen doesn’t mean it never happens.
Fire and petrol are basically a dummy combination and can lead to explosive fires
