The educational rebate is permanent at Apple.
In the past, there was an additional action for the winter semester. For iPad, there is a matching Apple Pencil and Mac AirPods for free. The regular educational rebates continue to apply.
The winter semester offers should be valid from July to October.
Even in spite of educational discounts, free market prices are often cheaper than Apple’s price directly. The e.g. Apple Pencil addition changes it frequently.
