Hello, I have my first gynecologist appointment soon. I'm a little scared and wondering what will happen to me there. My mom said I'll have a conversation with her first, and then she'll examine me. I'm wondering whether I should shave for it or not? Are any instruments used during this kind of examination? 😬😬

If he says that with 15, I’ll go with you, but with 17? I’d turn to another doctor at your place, that’s something unusual. What about the other signs of maturity? (Do not tell me is just for you to assess the situation) So development of the body, muscle, body hair. If nothing happens, the hormone status should be tested.

I am still 1.60 tall but the rest is actually well developed 💔

That’s good. The size: what does that look like in the relationship? Ask your father or uncle when they grow, they should be bigger. Maybe it’s like that.

But still, I would get another medical opinion.

I then say tomorrow my mother decides for a second medical opinion and in my family my mother side is rather small and my father side rather big

I don’t think it’s gonna be anything. Make a appointment with the specialist – a Phoniater or HNO doctor with additional name voice, speech and speech disorder.
