When should I switch to 1000s?
Hello everyone,
This is my 4th season of riding a motorcycle. I started with an unlimited A license when I was 24, with a GSXR600 L01, which I then rode for 2 years, covering around 15,000 km, and then sold because of the mileage.
This year marks the start of my fourth season on an 890 Duke. I rode it for around 6,000km last year, but this year I should do a bit more. Do you think I'll be ready for a 1,000km next year, or should I get another year of practice on the Duke?
I really have a lot of respect for the 200+ HP chairs.
I would be interested in a 1299 Panigale or GSXR1000 L7
Thanks for your answers.
What do you mean? Everyone who has a little driving practice and has himself under control and has a little driving experience. A 1000 does not drive faster than the well-dosed gas commands of the driver allow.
Otherwise, I see this now pragmatic. If you don’t have control and snap around, you do it with 50 hp, 100 hp or 200 hp. Everyone is responsible for his own actions. I know starters who have come up with a 100s at the start and drive reasonably and there are people with 25 years of driving practice for which it would be suicide. Since we don’t know you, we can’t tell you if you’re ready for it.
I’d recommend a few driving safety trainings beforehand. They helped me very much and they give you tips that you don’t get anywhere else
Okay recommend all by the bank. In general, I wanted to do a slant training this year π
You already have some pre-experiences and you also read some caution from your question. If you have your gas hand under control, you can rise unobstructed to a 1000.
Recommended is a driving safety or even better racing track training.
Joa I am foresight because I grew up with a lot of riders and knows how a 1000s goes off and of course you were also in “heart attacks” situations with the 600s and 890s. that with the 1000s would no longer have been masterable.
Gas hand under control is easy to say. in large and whole Yes – but like everyone I sometimes have my 5 minutes
The question is stop.
If you’re a “relaxed” driver, you could have gotten in with a 1000.
Prs. makes more fun if I have about the 100 ps and that can go out well, instead of the 200, where I don’t need and then can’t give a gas in the 3 because it shoots like chewing.
In the end, you need to know if you’re ready or not… there are people who can drive and there are people who still can’t drive after 10 years
Hi.
So who directly makes the open driver’s license can of course also drive directly ne 1000er.
They don’t always have to have 200+PS, mine has for example 100.
As beautiful as some of the things are, I have to say with more than 160 hp I can’t start in road traffic. I’m not having fun at all. Rumkriechen in the second gang… so I don’t spend money on it.
On the race track, this is certainly something else, but I also had my 100hp n mords fun π
After all, it’s up to you
You have to be able to guess that yourself.
No one knows how to drive here, and the kilometers say nothing unambiguously about the driving experience.
If you’re looking for a thousand, get one if you trust it to you, because what’s good for you when 20 people say you’re not going to get you and 1 says you’re going to get it?
