C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) is a long-term comet on the 12th August 2023 was discovered by the Japanese amateur astronomer Hideo Nishimura (jap. pharma村) using recordings with his digital mirror reflex camera.
Renewed visibility on September 26, 2023 with mag 4.0 (small telescope), 08:07 to 18:54.
