When do I need to consider the order?
a) A family of four attends the event on two different days. What is the probability that they will receive exactly one winning ticket in total?
Solution:
My question is: Why do I have to add 8 at the end of the solution? Theoretically, it doesn't matter when or who draws the winning ticket. It's only asking what the probability is of exactly one winning ticket.
Thank you for all suggestions.
There is a lot of information missing to get the solution.
I guess every family member gets a lot a day.
This part was forgotten. When entering an exhibition, each person receives a lot. A lot wins with a
Probability of 5% a price, the remaining lots are rivets.
