Whatsapp Backup laden?
Ich habe folgende Situation:
Ich habe einem Freund von mir Hochzeitsbilder per Whatsapp geschickt vor einigen Jahren.
Seit damals habe ich natürlich ein anderes Smartphone und leider hat weder mein Bekannter noch ich diese Fotos die einen hohen Erinnerungswert für uns haben.
Nun zur Frage. Ist es erstens möglich ein altes Whatsapp Backup aus Google Drive aufs Handy zu laden um die Bilder zu erhalten.
Und zweitens ob man danach wieder ein aktuelles Backup aufs Handy lädt um die aktuellen Chats nicht zu verlieren welche natürlich in einem Jahre alten Backup nicht existieren.
Hinweis: Android Smartphone.

Usually the backups are overwritten with time. Over such a long period it will probably be impossible to find the images in a WhatsApp backup.
Admittedly, it is also not a good idea to save this only in the chat. You can avoid these losses in the future if you regularly copy a backup of your images/videos to an external hard drive.

Unfortunately, I suspect that you can only see the chat patterns, because maybe not all pictures, GIFs, etc. are stored.
It’s still worth a try.
