What values can you use to identify a genuine, usable SD card?
I've bought cheap SD cards that couldn't even hold the full stated capacity. You could write to them, but in the end, the data above a certain GB limit wouldn't be stored at all, which means it was a scam.
Since then I always buy Sandisk SD cards and have only had good experiences with them.
Now, there are a number of inexpensive cards that promise a certain number of GB, and I'm wondering if there are certain criteria or specifications from the manufacturer that guarantee that the stated number of GB can actually be stored? Is there any way to determine this before purchasing, or is it essentially only the brand or price that determines whether a card is genuine?
You can also get folded brands cards. There may be sandisk, verbatim, Samsung, Kingston, on it, but then are extremely slow or not even half of the storage space.
That’s why I’m never gonna take the cheapest ones. If available, I always look at the seller’s reviews.
you always have to pay attention to where to buy.:))
I’ll buy my cards at Amazon. There are good fair offers. And I can convince myself that the previous customers were satisfied with the goods.
High performance cards for professional operation, I buy at Alternate. I can be sure to get what I want. And Alternate does not save on information about the product. So you know what you’re getting. Doesn’t matter. If you don’t have an action right now.
Not really, the label on the map can print any. Even firmly welded cards with manufacturer logo and around and there are no problem to falsify. You have to trust the seller first. 😉
At Amazon, I only had a single time that a M.2 SSD had a password protection. Although brand new. When I reported to Amazon, the return mark for DHL came immediately, and I was immediately reimbursed after checking that money was returned. So it wasn’t a leg break now.
I wonder if there are certain values, certifi card or seals where you can recognize a real map?
See that you will get a purchase guarantee, e.g. from Amazon or ebay and classifieds with buyer protection. Then quickly unpack the card and pack it properly from the computer. If you can then read everything on the map, the capacity is actually present. Also make sure that a return will not go to your loads to China that can be quite expensive
Well, I’m just buying something in the store, you get what’s up.
I wonder if there are certain values, certifi card or seals where you can recognize a real map?
Well, if you buy such a card in Rossmann or something, you can assume that the card also holds what the packaging promises.
