What types of turbines are there for generating energy at sea?

Hello, can anyone tell me what types of turbines there are for generating energy? I can't find anything concrete on the internet.

At the sea it becomes narrow… I only know the typical tidal power plant at Saint Malo in Brittany (maximum 15m tidal range).

In the case of hydropower plants, on the other hand, there are 3 basic types depending on the pressure drop (case height) and passage:

  • Kaplan (high water quantity, low pressure)
  • Francis (medium quantity of water, medium pressure)
  • Pelton (low water quantity, very high pressure)

The first two types are also realized bidirectionally in modern pump storage power plants.

What exactly do you mean by the sea?
