What to wear to a job interview?

Hey people,

I have an appointment next week for an interview + test + presentation at a social insurance company for the dual study program in business informatics.

What would you wear to the appointment?

I'm actually not really a suit/jacket type…

Insurance -> suit. I would bet that there are also presentations in studies where suit (maybe with tie) is the dress code.

I don’t understand what “suit type” means. Almost nobody wears that suit. You keep going for certain events (like an interview). You don’t have to be the right guy. It’s just a habit, and you have to stop seeing suits as something strange that only certain people wear. It’s just clothing.

Just in the area you should be able to wear a suit without disturbing you. Doesn’t have to like it extra, but you should. If you practice it by wearing it at home, it becomes a normal, less strange.

So yes, I would suggest a suit. It doesn’t make anything wrong. Including tie.

If you’re not the suit type, come with a clean jeans without holes with a jacket and a shirt underneath of course without a tie.

However, the first look is already your first impression you leave, so less I would not recommend if you are interested in this position.

Social security and a course of studies, which is a mix of BWL and computer science – but this is something of the occasion to get there in Sakko and/or Get up! Really, this is a very conservative environment and you want to work there in the area of administration, which is also directly connected to the line. This is actually one of the interviews where classic business clothing is the absolutely right choice!

Would recommend a suit. Or a white/baby blue shirt with a suit pants and suit shoes
