What to do with parts certificates?

Goodbye,

I ordered a FOX sports exhaust with a parts certificate, but I'm a bit unsure where to put it. A partial certificate always has to be registered, so I have to go to the registration office. However, it says online that you still have to go to the TÜV/DEKRA to get it approved. It would be nice if someone knew how to handle this. Oh, and I don't know if it's different from state to state, but I live in Hesse.

If you have bought a FOX exhaust system without EC approval, you must enter the parts review if you fill the documents of the opinion. For this purpose, the driving noise must be determined, so a driving noise measurement according to ECE 51 therefore costs between 150 and 300 euros depending on the circumference and the installation.

If, according to parts reviews, it will become an ECE 51.03 decrease, then it will be clearly more expensive, at ECE 51.03 it can also cost quickly 1000 to 3000 euros depending on the scope. And it becomes quite bad if, depending on the requirements, the power has to be determined and, under certain circumstances, an exhaust gas review is also created. But is very rare the case if not other things have been changed (eg elbow, cat, air intake, etc.)

Whether you're going to the TÜV, DEKRA or GTÜ, you're left to yourself, you should just look before that the noise is already in the desired position, because if it's too loud, it's probably going to be close even in driving noise measurement;-)

And the registration of the acceptance has to take place in the vehicle papers in a timely manner, for which the legislator provides for a maximum of 18 months. If you wait longer it can happen that a new lookout must be created.

If the exhaust from the manufacturer is an EC type approval or You can grow ABE without registration, but even if the rest of the parts on the vehicle can affect this exhaust (EG air filter) in the original state. It is important that the documents must always be carried along.

If the exhaust only has a part check as described above by you in your input question, then this exhaust system must be checked accordingly by an expert so that it then certifies that your vehicle corresponds to the STVZO. What shouldn't be a problem with parts reviews!

In both, however, your vehicle may not be louder (as tolerance), otherwise in case of doubt, the police will silence your car in front of location and let piggyback take it off to a beacon and that can be expensive.

Then you'll read the report carefully.

You only have to be a tester of a testing organization (TÜV, Dekra, GTÜ, KÜS, …) that checks and certifies the proper cultivation.

With the test report, you have to go to the road traffic office to correct the papers. (Not always immediately, but it is in the test report. I mean that another exhaust has to be “registered” immediately.)

In the case of a part-assessment, an acceptance or certificate of cultivation from a recognized testing organization is necessary. The entry into the vehicle papers is usually done when you are next busy with the papers. As long as you have the certificate from the TÜV in the glove compartment

It may also be that the entry into the papers must take place immediately. That's the test report.

Right. But as a rule, this is sufficient within the next version with the papers

From this to the TÜV and only then to the admission office.
