What to do with old laptops that are locked?

We have a few laptops from a deceased person. We can't boot them up and want to get rid of them, but not for nothing. We want a few euros for them.

Can take the motherboard battery out for some time(15-30min), then any non-system related lock should be gone and use it normally or sell it

How old are these things?

They already have to create a current Windows so someone is ready to give money. If they only create an unsupported Windows or just like that, they are completely worthless!

For example, if things only create XP, you can be happy to get rid of them for free!

You can sell the gold from the laptops for a few euros, or hand it to a scrap dealer. You will also get a few euros
