What to do if there is a virus on your phone?

So I was on a website like that and then my phone was infected with viruses. When I accepted cookies, I got a message from Apple saying that my phone was 52% infected with viruses. What should I do now? (quickly).

Ignore the message and acquire a bit of media competence.

An indication in % of how strongly your phone is infected makes absolutely no sense, except mostly only advertising for virus scanners.

You can reset your device for security reasons, that would be the only sensible one in the place.

Reset phone. First save all files (photos, videos, music etc)

Hard reset would be the best.

Check if the message is real.

Send a screenshot to the question.

That doesn’t say anything! They want to spread their virus app, clear the trouble that the message looks like she’s real. No one’s gonna think about it.

Don’t worry, just ignore, and next time, maybe look better at what you click. A good adblocker might be an idea.

How do you know the message came from the settings? The look doesn’t say anything here, you can easily replicate on websites.

Where did you come to the decision that the message was from the settings?

Interesting would have been if the message was still there after closing the browser.

Do you know the link of the website?

As I said, advertising for virus scanners is a typical mash, just ignore. You probably don’t even need to reinstall your device, but you can still do it for security reasons.

Where did this notice come from? In the settings? Or in the browser? If it’s in the settings, it’s true. Otherwise it’s fake!

Then it’s real. Secure your data and set it back

Backup data, reset cell phone.

As you described the message, she’s getting very fake. If she offers you an app with a download timer, then she is fake.

Then it’s a fake, just ignore. Settings sends you messages, and NIE offers you an app to download to praise any viruses.

Is a fake message 99%. You will not be hacked by cookies in normal cases
