What to do if a screw is rusted and worn out?

Hello, I have restored a small motorcycle and wanted to remove the oil filter cover to change it.

Problem: There's a Phillips-head screw that's unfortunately completely worn out. Unfortunately, the screw is also probably rusted solid.

I've already tried spraying the screw with penetrating oil and heating it with a soldering iron. I also filed a slot in the middle to try to unscrew it that way. But none of that helped; the material is too soft.

What else can I do to get this screw out? It would be ridiculous if this one small screw were to get in the way before I reach the finish line.

Carefully drilled out, first the head of the screw, then with a smaller drill the interior. Don't watch the thread hurt. Usually, the screw can be simply pulled out, or if you have a hole in the screws, you can hit something inside, eg screwdrivers and then rotate normally.

Left-turner try, if necessary

That's what they're doing. And beforehand, the screw can also be sprayed in with grate dissolving or creeping oil and let the stuff act for a moment.

You can drill all screws
