What should you look for in graphics card connections?
I want to get a new graphics card, but I'm confused about which connections (to other components) I need to pay attention to, or even if I need to pay attention to anything at all. All I can find online are guides on which graphics card I should get, but not what I need to pay attention to.
Thanks in advance!
Your motherboard should have at least a PCIe x16, preferably at least version 3.0.
Your power supply must have enough power and the necessary connections.
What exactly is installed in the computer and how much do you want to spend?
MB: ASUSTEK: TUF B360-PRO GAMING (WIFI) https://www.amazon.de/B360-Pro-Gaming-Mainboard-Sockel-Optane/dp/B07BRNK3Y9
Power supply: Don't know which one, it says 230V/450W
RAM: 16GB on 2 x 8GB, DDR4 (Something from Corsair)
CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-9400F Processor https://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/products/sku/190883/intel-core-i59400f-processor-9m-cache-up-to-4-10-ghz/specifications.html
My current graphics card is from 2010 and costs 40 euros new, it's about time for a small upgrade so I can get more than 60fps on the lowest graphics setting.
Available so maximum 200-250 euros
I would recommend this one: https://geizhals.de/xfx-speedster-swft-210-radeon-rx-6600-core-gaming-rx-66xl8lfdq-a2619750.html?hloc=de
Your computer won't need 300W when gaming.
This is it: https://computerstoreberlin.de/Super-Flower-Green-SF-450P14HE-ATX-Netzteil-450-Watt-80-Plus-305238
.
Amazon says minimum wattage 650; recommended 750, so is Amazon simply not the best source?
It would be good to know which power supply this is exactly. 450W is enough, though.
Will this power supply be sufficient? I read that it needs a minimum of 650 watts, but I only have 450 watts, or should I look for a new one?
