What should I do if someone notices my scars?

I'm going to a youth hostel tomorrow (October 21, 2024) with the AWO (Association of German Workers' Welfare Organizations). And I'm worried they'll notice my scars. What should I do if they notice them? Should I tell them, or should I ignore them if they point them out?

(Sorry if the question is stupid…)

If someone notices it and you don’t want to talk about it, you should just honestly say that it’s all about you. If it’s too much for you, it’s okay.

And if someone asks familiar, you can be honest, of course, only if you want. Because some people are really good talking. And I think someone you’re good with will not judge you for that.

And if you really have garkein Bock, someone’s appealing to you, you can dress long things. It’s not summer anymore, it’s winter soon.

You can do it

Generally, it’s your decision, most will probably leave it if you tell them you don’t want to talk about it. But the AWO can also provide external assistance, so it would not be a disadvantage to entrust it to someone on demand

Depending on who makes you aware of your scars, you can openly talk about it or answer that it is too intimate to you and you prefer not to talk about it.

If a person you trust speaks to you, I’d talk about it openly. It interested this person, otherwise she would not ask

Don’t be ashamed of anything… Do your thing. Is Wump what anyone laughs or thinks about you?

Scars tell stories. I’d be so proud.

Yeah, I don’t know what happens when any youth workers see it…
