What should I do if my dermatologist cannot/does not want to give me an appointment?
I had a staph infection a month ago, and my dermatologist gave me an ointment and an antibiotic (after we received an "urgent" code for an appointment). After taking them, everything got better, but now I have the same blisters on my fingers again.
The theory of the dermatologist and family doctor was that I was getting this because the staphylococci were penetrating my skin through my neurodermatitis, making it easier for them.
We went to the doctor again on Monday and received another code, but despite this code, we still couldn't get an appointment. Shouldn't doctors have special appointment times for cases like this? My mother ended up "arguing" with the woman on the phone (at the dermatologist's office), and she said they had n't had these appointments for a while.
What can we do? Could doctors even be prosecuted (for failure to provide assistance?)?
What do you think about this?
(If you have further questions, I will be happy to answer questions about the question and not directly in the answers)
You can call 116117…this is a not service if you don't get an appointment or have an urgent emergency and need an appointment
There we just called (so did it!) and get nothing
I had a case like this last time, I was told the mother's time on the back, you should let it look…
I'm on the phone, but the first skin doctor told me that there are no free appointments for cashier patients…
The same thing another skin doctor told me…
At the third skin doctor, I said that I was a private patient and Schwupp, I already had an appointment, waiting time about a week…
In the end, a malignant melanoma has been removed that would have killed me if you had waited a long time…
So this is the stop in the world, money governs the world and only those who pay equal receive performance..
Try it with private power, then surely something will happen immediately…
And those who don't have to pay for a little longer and then get the appointment two weeks later…of which the world usually doesn't go down.
In my case, it would have been six months… If the skin cancer had long since killed me…
Are you calling with 20 skin doctors?
You want me to go to Hamburg, or to the USA…
Mostly you are looking for where you live and these are no longer taking up patients who are cash patients…
So when you get an appointment, it's questionable – try it first before you talk about it – with the skin you have all at the moment, even children sitting there, you just don't get an appointment, no matter where, they're going everywhere.
Strange as a private patient but not.
So ALL 20 skin doctors with whom you spoke on the phone have clipped you and clearly said that you will only get an appointment in 6 months to check a single mother, which the family doctor has already called you dangerous and has then created a corresponding transfer to the specialist?
My goodness… if you get overdramatic, you might want to READ the paragraphs. I don't see an 'unfortunate' or a 'common emergency'… that's what's going on.
Looking for another doctor and being good. Or try it as a self-payer.
Or see if the doctor has an emergency response hour, sit there and wait.
He may have no more appointments. There you can also come with urgency whatever if 30 others have come with it, the doctor can also not cut any further appointments for you out of the ribs.
Problem is, he is the only specialist in the area
And probably he also has exactly BECAUSE he is the only skin doctor in the area, a very full schedule.
One could also conclude peace with the fact that in such a case you go outside to make an appointment with the specialist.
So this is today without complaining and suing, you seem to come to nothing – it would be so easy…
