What should I do if I find airpods?
Yoo, first time here, but I found a pair of AirPods while walking my dog today, and I'd like to get them back to their owner. The weather isn't great, and the area isn't really a good place to just leave them outside. Should I take them with me for now? I'd also take them to the police station tomorrow morning, but will that help?
I just don't want the owner to get upset. It costs money, after all. I'd be extremely disappointed if something like that happened to me.

Findings must be delivered to the fund office from a value of 5€. Maybe the police station will help.
Keeping them would not only be annoying to the owner, but a cover and thus punishable. So your idea of giving them is really good.
Airpods have the function to localize. You’d have to be able to make use of that.
Sounds good! Another user said something similar. I’d hate to keep her. Would feel extremely dishonest, so this is no option for me anyway. I’ll take her to the fund office next Monday! Hopefully they will come back to the owner, but hope that there will be no misunderstandings.(have somehow fear that I do the wrong thing… so take it and take it away*)

If no owner reports after 6 months, the headphones will be transferred to your property.
In addition, you have a legal right to finder reward, should the owner report.
To be honest, I had to google if my city has a fund office!😅 Unfortunately, if only next Monday is open again, it will get right there as soon as I have the time. Thank you for the advice!
Ignore them just otherwise you will find cell phone lying on the floor
