What practices/resources etc. are available to protect yourself most effectively from online fraud?

❓️Which portals, lists, apps or browser extensions are recommended to check the reliability of a provider?

For example:

• Scamadviser

• Trustpilot

————————–

❓️Which red flags indicate that it is urgently necessary to examine an offer particularly critically?

For example:

• The shop domain is 2 weeks old

• The offer is too good to be true

————————–

❓️Are there typical behaviors that indicate that the person you are chatting with might be a scammer?

For example:

• Repeated statements about how advantageous and profitable an offer will be for you

• Your conversation partner is putting pressure on you

————————–

Thanks for your tips ✌️

Hello,

Finally, there is a question of good question, which has been put forward, where there are even examples of the answer! Thank you

Which portals, lists, apps or browser extensions are recommended to check the seriousness of a provider?

  • Scamadvisor
  • Trustpilot
  • Total
  • Wikipedia (Website of a product – may be incorrect in rare cases)
  • For the rest, I would actually recommend my own caution.

Which Red Flags indicate that it is urgently necessary to consider an offer particularly critical?

  • The
  • So-called domain spoofing, where well and like to use URLs that could belong to a well-known site (gogle.com, googIe.com (not real), amayon.com, and similar…)
  • Very long URLs with several points sepered, before the .de / .com / etc. (Can of course also sometimes be real)
  • Click on the link (Google Ads Links excluded) to forward the following to other websites (click on test.com and forward to igottahackyou.com)
  • Unprofessional Website
  • No HTTPS certificate (Browser also warns as “unsafe website, no passwords and data enter !!!)
  • Immitation of another website
  • Same website exists with same design
  • Unreal download buttons
  • Advertisements to inappropriate places / inappropriate advertising

Are there typical behaviors that are an indication that the person you chat with might be a fraud?

  • I cannot confirm the first ninth point. Dealers might have a great interest in buying something. I don’t necessarily see that as a red flag.
  • Answers that are generated by machine
  • Insane content in messages
  • In particular on classifieds: Inquiries about Paypal Friends and Family (Friends and Family), Inquiries for email, News by email for purchase (in relation to classifieds), Change request to other platforms

If you have more questions, you can contact us. To all “I ask Bltte help girlfriend leave after bed” users on GoodQuery, Take an example of this question! Then you get good answers!!!

With best regards,

One or another measure may be helpful.

The best protection method is and remains:

No online purchases, but purchase in the shop.

What is not available in the store, you don’t need, just as little as “purchasing advice” by influencer.

The question is how long the shop business still exists and whether it will remain sensible in the future.

might not be helpful to this exact thema but here you can also test website and your own email if you are targeting so-called “hackers”:

https://pentester.com/

this portal compares databases of leaks or data leaks as well in the darknet.
