What percentage is correct in a multiple response survey?
Hello everyone, I actually have a simple task, but I'm still stuck.
A survey of 30 people was conducted on their favorite ice cream flavor. (Multiple answers were possible.)
A total of 102 responses were received. The question now is which percentage represents the correct statement. 29 people answered vanilla. Of all the responses (102), that's 28.43%, and for the entire 30 people, that's 96.67%. Which answer is the correct one in terms of the significance of which flavor is the most popular?
Thank you very much in advance. And please no more weird answers like "You can't be serious," "It's so easy," etc. PLEASE give sensible answers. Thank you.
It does not apply to the number of answers, but to those of the people. Therefore 29/30 is correct.
The consideration that one should hold 28,43% vanilla ice cream due to the survey is not targeted because only one person (P20) likes vanilla ice cream. The question of the optimal amount of vanilla ice is complex. This depends on the probability that person P20 is in line as n-ter and with which probability the (n-1) others have already consumed the existing vanilla ice. This does not give the numbers in the Excel file.
well, millimons come to the problem.
If you want to know how large the relative supply of the respective ice types should be, you would take a 30% vanilla =;->
I added my answer.
It always depends on it, but here it is 29/30 or 97% like the vanilla!
