How many kilometers do airplanes fly from the earth?
Hey 😉 We are just sitting outside and see some airplanes in the sky, and wonder how far away they are from us… Does anyone happen to know? 😉 Thanks
Can I smuggle liquids into my luggage?
Hello Hello I'm new here and have a question… I'm flying to Turkey (Izmir) in 2 weeks And I wanted to know if I could hide shower gel or shampoo or things like that in larger packages in my clothes? Because this 100ml (in total 1l) is really little and annoying! Do you happen to…
Why doesn't Babeck want to ban flying within Germany, but rather make flying more expensive and invest the money in climate projects?
It would be much better economically and ecologically to ban domestic flights in Germany. If I were to impose a kerosene tax, people would still fly, and that would be done by those who have the money, and there are many of them. On the other hand, if the money were taken and spent on…
“upper weight” costs?
…Since Virgin Atlantic, like almost everything else, is too stupid to post prices anywhere, here's the question: I have a 30kg suitcase. What (surcharge) should I expect? I'm emigrating…

Which A380s are currently flying to Frankfurt?
Emirates currently has to fly once a day with an A380 (the other two flights per day are Boeing 777-300ERs or something similar). The few A380s that Lufthansa plans to reactivate are currently only being used from Munich. Which other airlines currently fly to Frankfurt with A380? Any plane spotters out there who know exactly?
I flew yesterday AYT -> DUS. In Antalya everything went smoothly, leaving 20 minutes from the suitcase until waiting at the gate.
In Dusseldorf I stood at the switch of Pegasus for one hour, was badly organized. These three opened switches of which were for all Pegasus flights of the rest of the day, so there were probably 1,000 people or more.
In addition, a switch was only for people with disabilities, but not signposted. So several hundred people and I also stood at this switch for the disabled and wanted to leave the suitcases when you were then told individually that you should go to another switch. That was badly done by Pegasus.
Security control took approx. 20 minutes, although the snake was far over 300 meters long. The snake was split and parts of it were redirected to other parts of the airport to carry out security control there.
There is nothing badly organized, the problem is simply that people dance for many hours before departure and block everything instead of coming to their time.
Huhu,
Frankfurt was partly white really chaotic with some snakes, also from customers who visited us I heard of lost luggage. I had hardly any significant problems with 5 flights from Frankfurt since April. Maybe it took 20 minutes longer. In general, however, I don’t like Frankfurt airport so compared to others, as there were problems before, but that’s just my opinion.
About Anna
I flew from London to Zurich last week and had neither back nor back any problems. No long queues, no mess, all business as usual. In June to Germany and return the same. No problems, no long waiting times. However, when only hand luggage has been flown, nothing can say about the alleged suitcase chaos
I have no negative experience. So far only positive experience. I was often in Düsseldorf airport to travel to USA so Orlando Florida. Customs or controls have never had problems before 🙂 I also donate free coffee to the taxpayers at my expense. I’m just like the others.
What tax collectors? When you get off, you’re not going to meet a tax collector.
I’ve been lucky so far. I flew 4 times this summer and the longest I had to wait at the security check in Hamburg. But with 1 hour waiting time it was faster than expected. In Rome and Vienna I had to wait a maximum of 5 minutes.
Love
Alex
No more negative than usual. Everything as stupid as ever:D
Hab of 500m queues belongs to the safety lock and 3h standing time
This has nothing to do with our own experience. Did you stand in a 500m snake and wait three hours?
no I have heard and received terrible nightmares
The end of the report stood in the snake and report to me by video call.
I’m sorry if you’re causing the nightmare. But listening is not really what the questioner wanted to know. The question was, after all, actual experiences (horrorizations in the news are always enough, but does not mean that the real experience is really the same)
