In the case of cars, the price is not calculated commercially, but rather marketing. It is not required what the car would have to cost according to the manufacturing costs, but what marketing people believe the customers are willing to pay it.

The expensive material, the many manual work (assembly time) and the precision (more machines, long processes).

Ferruccio Lamborghinis belong to the Volkswagen Group, of course, since the strong partner in the cross, have become a multiple cheaper in production.

Many parts are simple VAG components that are also used in other vehicles.

Some things are still small series or even single production.

The costs incurred for development, production and sales are divided by the production figures or sales figures to be expected and these then results in the price.
