Bei einer Revolution kommt es in der Regel auch zu einer Veränderung sowohl der politischen wie auch der gesellschaftlichen Ordnung ( zumindest ist dieses das Ziel).
Bei einem Umsturz kommt es zu einer Veränderung der politischen Ordnung. Ein Umsturz geht aber nicht unbedingt mit einer Veränderung der gesellschaftlichen Ordnung einher.
In a revolution, the country is at its absolute lowest point. A coup may not lead to bloodshed at best, but of course it depends on who overthrows whom.
