What kind of people like to write WhatsApp messages that start with the word "Hey"?
Let's say a boy or girl sends you a WhatsApp message that begins with the word "Hey." What does this say about that person's writing style and personality traits? I'm talking about messages where the word "Hey" seems to be used instead of "Hello." Does the word "Hey" say anything about what the person thinks of you? I realize it's not always a good idea to read too much into it, but I still want an answer to this question.

What are you supposed to interpret? “Hey” is less formal and more transient, unlike “Hello”. Much more than that, I would say
There are people who write “hey”. Others write “Moin”, “Tach also” maybe “Mahlzeit” or “Alta, what’s going on?”.
That doesn’t say anything, but nothing about the person or her mental condition.
