What kind of components are these?
Hi. Can anyone tell me what kind of components these are? I mean the ones that seem to have burned out. Thanks.

Hello AppleLee5,
Judging by the label (FB = ferrite bead) these are probably damping beads.
What do they do?
They can have various tasks, for example the attenuation of high-frequency interference or signal filtering.
Is it possible that if these are defective the device will no longer work?

Or not working at times?
Yes of course. If no electricity can flow, something isn't working anymore. What is it?

About a pool robot that has become wet.
I've tested it again. If I disconnect the battery and then reconnect it, it turns on and off once. Then it won't turn on again. If I then disconnect the battery and then reconnect it, it turns on and off once again. Could that be the cause, or is there another defect?
Can you measure it?

You cannot find out the nominal sizes from the circuit board.
Can you tell what thickness the pearls are?
Yes, the circuit board shouldn't get wet. 🙂
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't pool robots meant to get wet? 😀
If it's not working properly and you don't have the expertise to do it, you should have it professionally repaired. Otherwise, things can go wrong. You might even still have a warranty or guarantee.
