What is your favorite series?

Unique Game of Thrones. This mix of heroic fantasy and real medieval depictions, great actors who have shown outstandingly different personalities. There was not a leading actor, there were many. A lot of people had to win love, some abhorred. No one was really good, no one was just evil, all had incredible personal heights and depths in the representation of their being Snow/Stark, Jorah Mormont. People who had more size than it seemed, the Gnome Tyreon Lannister, a true master as a hand, almost the representative of kings. Especially good saying: "This is what I do: I drink and I know things!"

As a martial artist, I loved the fights and battles. The various elements of HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts/old European martial arts) and various martial techniques of Asian styles, absolutely great and realistically choreographed.

Dragons, magic and supernatural, mystical beings, the three-eyed raven, white wanderers, the night king, the children of the forest, the men without face, shadow wolves, giants…. Not to forget the beautiful but merciless weapon destroying the neon green sea fire.

Game of Thrones is currently my number 1. I like Spartacus very much. In the 90s there was the Highlander series. More, less well-told stories. But quite well staged sword fights. Also recommended with less claim.
