Should horses be fed selenium permanently?
Byggirl04
About six months ago, the vet diagnosed my horse with a selenium deficiency. We were given a selenium powder to add to his feed daily. I've reordered the powder since then. Now I'm wondering if he should continue to receive selenium supplements? Or should I stop giving him the supplement?
Animals that exclude disabled or albino conspecifics?
Hello, are there packs of animals in nature that exclude members of their own species that look different? I once heard that some ravens exclude albino members of their own species. Is this true, and are there other animals that do this? Thanks for all the answers!

Horse asthma?
Hello, I have a quick question: Can you notice an asthma attack in a horse the day before or does it come on suddenly?

A sidepull. This is in all variations, so you can find the right size for your own horse.
Everything else is then again dependent on skill and wanting.
If you continue to be interested in biteless trimmings, I can put this to my heart:

Thank you. And thanks for the link!
At the moment we ride with Bosal, however, the problem is that I can’t just ride my sister (she can ride and ride for several years in school but with Bosal, that’s quite different and too dangerous to me.) That’s why I’m looking for a line that’s softer.
Thank you.
Alternatively, she could get Bosal lessons until she can handle it… Makes sense anyway – because a sidepull must be explained above all by the rider.
Depends on what. I have a lot of people and, depending on the level of training, the aim of training and the individual horse, I choose to be different. Each trimming is only as good as it corresponds to the intended purpose.
I don’t have any endless comparisons, but I had a long time riding a horse with a lucky star. If the difference to riding with Trense isn’t as big now, your sister could come up with it. However, the thing is a bit sharper than a normal water trench, and should not be used with a horse with kink problems. If the rider is not inclined to pull the rein, surely a good start.
The so-called. “Sidepull” – also wonderfully suitable for riding young horses…
With the “Bosal-Hackamore” one has to be able to handle – even the horse needs a certain training stand – this is the “king class”).
I love watching the “Vaqueros” here – the rides no horse 6 years ago…;)
Thank you. My horse is barely ridden but I ride with Bosal and that my sister cannot ride the horse..
A well-fitting sidepull.
Ride my head off and on with it, it is relatively difficult to listen, but is much more motivated to listen.
I’ve already ridden Bosal, and I can’t imagine horses who can work with it and are trained on it.
Knotted neck or a leather tread without a bite. Where I personally prefer to ride with bites but everyone must know and decide.
I don’t want to use knot halters from the saddle. Thank you.
One more voice for the sidepull!
Become a “all in one” solution soon. Kappzaum, sidepull, and bite can also be attached if necessary. Is the most convenient for my purposes when it comes to hiking again. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anyone who makes this affordable out of leather and I don’t like Biothane.
Knifeneck.
You always hear that you shouldn’t ride
It depends. You have to leave the reins longer
In fact, it is not so good for it. You can try it with a leatherneck
Well, when riding out or so I’ll let you go for a long time, but in the place you have to ride a healthy ride where you have to take the reins shorter…
