What is wrong with the following statement?(kWh)?
“The newly constructed wind farm has a capacity of 300 kWh"
what is wrong with this statement?
Hello, can someone help me with this physics problem? A charged dust particle with a mass of 1.5 * 10-11 kg floats in the field of a plate capacitor to which a voltage of 600 V is applied. The plates are arranged horizontally at a distance of 6 mm. How do you proceed now? I…
Hello, I rent an apartment where I'll be staying for about one to two years. The lease states that the apartment must be kept at a constant 18(?) degrees to prevent mold. Personally, I'm never cold, so I never turn on the heating. Is it enough to air out the room twice a day to…
What happens if you hold negatively charged objects to both sides of the glow lamp? Do both wires light up?
Hello, I had an experiment with a fine beam tube in my physics lab. To complete the paper, I now have to complete the following task: The electron speed is: Now I'm wondering how the experimental data could possibly deviate from the theoretical relationship? e and m are natural constants here, so the curve always…
I have a simple physics question. In atomic bomb explosions, everything in the core zone of the explosion evaporates. Stones, metal, everything. This <atomic vapor> enters the atmosphere. What happens to this steam when it cools down? Does something new emerge or does everything disappear?
Hello, I have a question about a physics problem. The problem involves a cannon that is to be fired at an angle α so that it lands on a flat surface after 1000 m. The initial velocity is given as 100 m/s and a g of 9.8 m/s². How do I calculate the angle α?…
KWh is the unit for energy. Performance would be only KW.
That kWh (kilowatt hours) is the unit for (electric) work and not for performance. 300kWh says nothing about the performance of the plant. The unit for power would be either Watt (W) or Voltampere (VA) or Kilowatt (kW) or Kilovoltampere (kVA).
The power is in watt or Kilowatt (kW). However, kilowatt hours (kWh) represent the amount of energy delivered or the work done.
If a power of 300 kW is delivered for one hour, this corresponds to an energy quantity of 300 kWh and, after 2 hours, 600 kWh. The amount of energy thus results from a certain power during a certain time.
Well, kWh has the dimension of an energy. To say the power is 300 kWh is just as useful as talking about a current strength of a volt.
only the kilowatts or megawatts or anything else, nix with -hour.
Power does not have kWh as unit.
