What is this block of stone good for?

I noticed an orange metal bracket with a rather expensive-looking stone block and a metal thingy… Why does the government do something like that? To survey the many small property boundaries?

Your plug runs over a building. The nose that protrudes out of your stone is to control the height to control the movements of the building.

I can’t explain the orange part to you, maybe that no one stumbles over the block.

Jep, this is a guard for lawnmowers, winter service and so on.

The evil state actually places a trigonometric point of measurement on an unconsolidated piece of road edge and protects it so that it is not crazy or damaged with a metal bow. 🫣

A surveying slat or a laser is placed on this small nose. Since this surveying point must not be insane, because then the surveying errors are potent, this is so massive and the bow serves as protection.

Yeah.

That’s a height mark.
