What is the reason for a tendency to fungal infections on the scalp?

Standard anti-dandruff shampoos from the drugstore aren't enough for me. I need shampoo with antifungals to stop the fungus from growing. If I don't use antifungal shampoos, the fungus starts growing again, even if I only wash my hair once. And I always wash my hair every three or four days. But why is this happening with the fungus? I've had it for a while. Is this rare, and what's the reason for it?

It is caused by an infection of the scalp with skin fungi. Carriers are mostly animals like dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Something seems to be wrong with your immune system. We all have mushrooms on the skin. Only if the overhand takes, you should go to the doctor and let it clear.
