What is the probability of catching the 480 series on the S3?
I'm having my autumn break soon and plan to ride the 480 again to remember. I was really sad when they disappeared from the ring. How often do they still run? And are the terminal stations in area C? I'd like to take a photo of the train there.

You can currently only find them on the S3. They'll soon also be running on the S75. The best place to photograph them is probably in Erkner, the eastern terminus of the S3.
