In Bavaria, it's the Gymnasium (high school). Here, students go up to grade 12. What's the situation in your state?

High school or general school. If there are both forms everywhere. As far as I know up to the 13th grade, after G8 has changed to G9 in most federal states.
You can do the full Abitur in every federal state – either high school or professional gymnasium in 2 or 3 years in high school.
In every federal state there is the gymnasium.
