In the gully on the street or through the toilet flush?
Hi, I have a ton of shower gels and shampoos that have all expired. I couldn't use them because they got lost during the move, and now they're two to three years or more out of date. My question is: Where can I dispose of them? I can't pour gallons of shower gel and shampoo…
Hello diyabakir,
the technical lime circuit is simple:
From Breast cold (including Etching lime or Smoke lime = Calcium oxide, CaO) is added by water (so heat is produced, evaporating water looks like smoke, therefore smoke lime) Delete calculator (=calcium hydroxide, Ca(OH)2 ). When setting (in nature or construction), the extinguishing lime CO2 takes up from the atmosphere and loses water so that “Coal sour lime” (=calcium carbonate, CaCO3) is formed. The lime burning the CO2 deviates again, so that the starting product Breast cold (= Calciomoxide, CaO) which is highly basic (pH value 12-13, therefore Etching lime).
As natural lime cycle the Carbonate silicate cycle (cf. wiki), which describes the conversion of carbon dioxide from the air to dissolved ions in seawater, which are accepted by animals for skeletal formation (calcium is good for the bones! :o) ), dense at the bottom of the sea (in millions of years) to rock layers and then release CO2 again via the pressure in the interior of the earth.

With the natural calcareous circuit, one usually only means the reaction scheme of the solution of limestone by means of carbon dioxide-containing water and, conversely, the formation thereof by dispensing carbon dioxide from hydrogen carbonate. In technology, lime is burned and thus becomes calcium oxide, which is erased and bound. Certainly, however, there are also natural lime burning, namely whenever limestone reaches larger depths of the earth’s crust. This could be, for example, one of the sources of volcanic carbon dioxide.
The technical is controlled or controlled as required.
