Asexual is just English for asexual.

About ace on the other hand, not for exactly the same, but is a short word for the so-called “Ace spectrum”, which includes not only asexuality, but also sexual orientations with attraction in a weakened form.

Asexual and asexual are exactly the same. Only this is a German and the other an English term. The short form “Ace” also stands for these two words and therefore also has the same meaning.

Other linguistic modifications of asexual are not known to me.

There’s no difference. In German, asexual would simply be just grammatically wrong.

The meaning of asexual refers purely to sexuality where love can play a role, but does not have to,

Platonic love is nevertheless a very similar term.

However, one can have a Platonic love to be without asexual.

That’s the same thing you wrote differently. First false in German, the latter wrong in English.
