What is the best way to save?

My apprenticeship starts soon and my driver's license is being paid for, so I don't have to save up for it. However, I also want to buy my dream car, which isn't exactly cheap (a Ford Mustang), which is why I want to save up. My mum suggested I open a savings account. I can put in about €100 a month for the first year of training, and it won't be much more in the other two years. I don't have a problem with waiting, but I don't think I have the patience for that long, which is why I wanted to ask if there are better methods for making money quickly? The savings bank offers investments in precious metals, but since the company's turnover is their top priority, I'm not sure, which is why I'm asking here.

(slower methods are also OK, just not too slow)

I would simply recommend picking up a spaardose and just packing some of the money in the can. And then wait patiently.

It’s so similar to me. I am 13 years old. And I started saving for a metaquest 2 at the end of September last year. I needed six months. But in the end it was worth it

With the amount of cash inflow to your savings can you will be able to generate little passive income (e.g. daily money, ETF, …). In this respect, only stupides helps to put aside and do not touch the money.

The Msci Word Etf should be very good. What kind of expenses do you have? For example, with subscriptions, rent, etc., you can save money. Or do you mean saving money? Then add a side job.

“The Msci Word Etf should be quite good” – yes, but not for short-term savings targets.

For short-term savings, you can forget any share and any ETF. Because in this case it is always just a pure gambling.

Then I yelled this: “Or do you mean to make money? Then add a side job.” I was not quite sure whether he wants to save money or plans to buy his car through interest/share yields. In the latter case, he should take a side job or similar.

Yeah, that’s right. And the questioner said he was saving on a car he wanted to buy in a few years.
