What is the average fuel consumption per 100km?

I would like to buy a car soon, but I'm not very well informed about it, so I wanted to ask what the average fuel consumption is.

Greetings Pfuffi

depends on where and how you drive – if you are riding balanced over the highway you can also enjoy a 6 liter gasoline on the same route with the same car, but you can also consume 11 liters on the same way.

So in an all-wheel vehicle, the average with gasoline is approx. 9 liters and with diesel 6 liters on 100KM.

With the other types of drive, I have no experience in fuel consumption. I need something stable.

approx. 30% of fuel consumption depends on the driving style.

Yep. I am even under the details of the work with my driving style. Instead of 10 liters I drive my car with 9.2 liters on 100KM.

Very rough as a rule of thumb and for the weakest base gasoline engines:

Small car: 5 to 7 l / 100 km

Lower middle class car: 6 to 8

Intermediate car: 7 to 9

Upper middle class car: 8 to 10

Top cars: 9 to 11

Very hard to say.
We have a car that needs 5l and one we drive at 14.
Both are not older than 5 years

In normal driving mode everything is in between 5-10 liters / 100km (diesel/petrol)

Just look at http://www.spritmonitor.de – there are diligent people carrying out their tank operations, so you can find average consumption by model.
