What is the architectural difference between Chicago and New York City?

Hello,

When I compare the cities of Chicago and New York City in terms of construction, I admit that they do have a certain similarity.

Chicago

New York City

What might be the biggest differences between Chicago and New York City from an architectural point of view?

Jointness is a right-angled street grid and skyscrapers from different periods in the business centers.

In New York there is a larger number of them, distributed among two centers, in better architectural quality and also more new building projects in recent years.

In the rest of New York, the multi-storey urban block border construction as well as large free-standing social blocks dominate, while Chicago is rapidly suburban outside the center, with row and single-family houses and slumber poor neighborhoods.
