What is particularly important to you about a website?
Hello 🙂
I create websites and would like to know what is particularly important to you about a website or your website so that you feel good and want to continue browsing, inquire or buy.
They can be very obvious, but also very unusual “things”.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
Hi,
many websites are from the bar or have a very similar design that you often see. What I think is negative is superficial animations. Some websites are overwhelmed with animations. This interferes with reading the content or distracts from the actual. Decent little animations that do not notice big, like button interactions, are better adapted. Scroll animations can also simply disturb and overload visitors to a website.
It is particularly important to me that the Scripture is easily legible. If writing and background do not form sufficient contrast, then reading is laborious for the eyes and I leave the page. In recent years, some people have come up with the idea of using gray or even bright gray font. What are you doing? When a piece of paper comes out of the printer, you see that the toner is all!
It is also important to me that the title of each page gives a useful bookmark. For example, if there is only “start page” or “heartly welcome”, then the resulting bookmark is not useful because you don’t see where it goes.
Appealing design, appealing content and last but not least speed.
These are three solid thoughts. In that order?
No, not necessarily. Form follows function. So first content and UI, then speed, then design I would say. The mix is going somewhere. If the content is so sharp and everything is easy and convenient to use, it does not necessarily have to be beautiful. But of course.
