DNS means “Domain Name System”. They also say DNS servers. This DNS server ensures that you can reach a website via your name, such as “”. If DNS servers do not exist in networks, you should always work with IP addresses and enter them, such as 192.168.0.1 (only one example).

192.168.x.x is registered for local LAN … that is normally not conducted with DNA but rather DHCP.

That’s right. I just wanted to do this without DNA, with IP addresses and no longer with names. But I’m glad you’re writing this. Thank you.

DNS is something with servers where your ip is forwarded

That’s not right. Your IP will not be forwarded. A DNS server ensures that you can, for example, address the DB server in a network with name, instead of using the actual IP address

Domain Name Server: a computer that converts name entry into number addresses to achieve Internet sources.

et is conducted after 213.95.206.42.

enter an empty address line at the browser: 213.95.206.42 —- will also land on (possibly a bit faster, because the DNS does not have to be asked before). Disadvantages: if you store this and relocate your servers. Will no longer find — DNA but already (after maybe 2h).

Don’t forget the Anycast system and IPv6.
