What if you lose your ability to serve in the police force?

Hey,

I have applied for a dual study program where you have to pass the PDV 300, i.e. the police service suitability test (from Hesse).

I went to the optician yesterday to find out whether it even makes sense to continue with the selection process, as I would have to change my entire summer plans.

She said I'm on the fence about many things regarding my eyes. For example, regarding squinting, my right eye sometimes doesn't move to one side when I concentrate.

I could try to prevent my eyes from becoming squinty, etc. with the medical officer during the selection process, but my question is, what happens if someone notices after I've been hired that I have a squint, for example, or that my eyesight has gotten worse?

Will I then be subsequently “kicked out” of the dual study program, or are the criteria only there for hiring purposes?

You then overcame the attitude and the training you will be able to do. But at the latest, if your takeover from the official for rehearsal to the official for lifetime, you will be examined again. If your superiors have noticed your deficit and also included IN your file, then it can still be excluded. Then, however, a takeover as an administrative officer could be possible.

Although the conditions for serviceability are not known to me, in general, in the case of baptismal examinations, for which unrestricted vision is a criterion, not just someone is looking at you.

There is already meticulously checked all that is relevant according to a predetermined system, for example, the rough vision by polatest you either best or not. You can’t influence the result, because such tests are designed so that possible deviations from the ideal are definitely revealed. But if you are lucky and meet the requirements despite the seemingly well-known shilling, it will not be interested to see if your eyes are at the perfect angle. However, if a repetition investigation at some point proves that you are no longer fully fit for any reason, this would naturally have consequences for the service you would use.

You have a shilling angle? If you lack the ability to see space, you won’t be a cop.
