What if you give cocaine to someone who is in a deep coma?

In my knowledge there are no scientific studies which would justify such a medical experiment. Cocaine stimulates the central nervous system by the partial blockade of the resumption of dopamine and norepinephrine (above also that of serotonin).

Since the majority of patients in the coma were artificially put into the coma, the energy resources of the human being are available for physical recovery, such an undertaking does not make any sense. Cocaine counteracts the anesthetics which serve for the introduction and preservation of long-term full-nose (benzodiazepines, propfol, opioids, etc.).

In people who are in the coma due to “natural causes”, the gift of cocaine is also not acceptable. A natural coma may have the following causes:

• stroke -> cocaine favours further strokes -> Tabu
• Skull-brain trauma -> cocaine has unintentional consequences -> Tabu
• brain tumor -> cocaine has unintentional consequences -> Tabu
• Meningitis/encephalitis -> cocaine increases the grain temperature -> Tabu
• Epileptic attack -> cocaine lowers the cramping threshold -> Tabu
• Metabolic disorders (e.g. kidney and liver insufficiency) -> cocaine loads the metabolism -> Tabu
• Indoxification (toxication) -> cocaine itself may lead to an indoxification -> Tabu
