What happened?

Hello, I wanted to drop off a package at Hermes today, so I drove there. The car had been in the parking lot for 24 hours without being driven, and when I wanted to turn slowly into the kiosk parking lot in first gear, I suddenly couldn't steer anymore, or rather, it was very difficult to steer. With my spaghetti arms, it was impossible. After restarting the car, everything worked perfectly again. I didn't see any lights come on. 😐 I don't know anything about technology, so I don't know if it was a short-term failure or something else (I have a Peugeot 206cc, by the way). Thank you in advance for your answers.

If the power steering fails, you will notice this at low speeds such as parking and parking. At higher speeds, you don’t notice it anymore, the car is steering as usual.

Sometimes only one sensor has failed. Let’s check it in a workshop

Maybe it’ll come back, you know, and you should go find a workshop.

What does this have to do with Hermes?

You should immediately consult a workshop because the defect can occur again at any time.

There’s probably the electric power steering sporadically out. Last time I did. Everything’s okay after restarting.

If there’s one thing left, you can take it off. If this happens again or even more often, the steering electronics must be tested in the workshop

Power steering failure… Would take him to the workshop.
